W18-2: The MBA Learning Center for Beginning Users – Technology Powering Your Classroom - $39
This highly interactive session is designed for those that want to explore, are new, or beginning users of the MBA Learning Center. Spend time learning how to set up the Learning Center, how to import and export modules, how to assign, how to enroll students, how to customize assessments and assignments, and much, much, more.  Tied to the national standards the Learning Center modules, assessments, and links to additional activities, games and videos will help you deliver a stronger curriculum, build a strong(er) WBL program, assist in creating curriculum based School Based Enterprises, and prepare your BPA, DECA, or FBLA students for competition. The MBA Learning Center has over 300 modules and assessments, all powered by Canvas.

Participants will leave the session with: 
Hands-on experience with advanced tools found within the LC
New ideas and strategies for using the LC
Additional strategies from current users in the session

W18-3: Building a Community of Lifelong Project Managers - $39
The global economy has become more project-oriented, as the practice of project management expands within all industries. Organizations are connecting the dots between strategy and action, to stay competitive in the marketplace. This Project Management Educator Training includes all deliverables of a semester PM Course including; a suggested strategy for gaining STEM support, integration of CTSO’s and developing a sequence of courses. Participants receive course outline, detailed lesson plans, frameworks, instructional strategies and ongoing support.

Session participants will learn strategies for teaching a semester long Project Management Course

Technology is changing quickly and is a great tool for engaging students and enhancing learning.  The key is to not use technology for technology’s sake but to use technology to develop knowledge and skills and allow students to become active learners, rather than passive listeners.  Join one of our most popular presenters as Snehal models how to utilize technology to improve learning by incorporating virtual reality or augmented reality in your CTE classroom.  This will be a highly interactive session.

W18-1: Building High Quality Programs - $39
From Standards to Assessment the focus of this pre-conference session will be to provide teachers, and administrators, with the tools to build high quality programs. Starting with an overview of the national standards participants will review and use the standards to improve their current program, will take a deep dive into curricula and instructional resources to support the standards and review research based assessments including digital badges and certifications. Participants will have an opportunity to earn a digital badge and receive a code to take one of the A*S*K exams. Participants will also receive a $100 gift certificate to purchase MBA resources.

Participants will leave with the session with:
Understanding the national standards and how they tie to state standards
Curricula that provides great program planning and instructional tools
Multiple Instructional strategies

This highly interactive session is designed for current users of the MBA Learning Center. Spend time learning how to create courses, import videos, assignments and assessments, create assessments using the assessment center, allow students to collaborate, utilize Speed Grader, and much, much more.  There will be a time to share as advanced users share their unique strategies and ideas with each other. The MBA Learning Center is powered by Canvas and has over 300 modules and assessments, all powered by Canvas.

Participants will leave the session with:
Hands-on experience with advanced tools found within the LC
New ideas and strategies for using the LC
Additional strategies from current users in the session
